Portuguese Waldorf School Association joins ECSWE
Portugal
The upgrade of the Portuguese association from guest status to official membership brings the number of official ECSWE members from 26 to 27

During the General Assembly on 14th June, ECSWE members approved the request of the Associação Portuguesa de Escolas com Pedagogia Waldorf (APEPWfor full membership in ECSWE. The approval as a full member marks an important step for the Portuguese Waldorf movement and ends a long period of indirect representation by the Spanish Asociación de Centros Educativos Waldorf.

From now on, the 4 Portuguese Waldorf schools, 5 kindergartens, and 566 pupils will be directly represented by ECSWE representative Pedro Miguel, who previously attended Council meetings as a permanent guest.

The upgrade of the Portuguese association from guest status to official membership brings the number of official ECSWE members from 26 to 27.
