Wal­dorf 100 conference

The art of education: Empowering our children to shape their future

 

In Sep­tem­ber 1919, the first Wal­dorf school opened its doors in Stuttgart, Ger­many. On the 100th anniver­sary of the Wal­dorf move­ment, there are over 1180 schools and 1900 Wal­dorf kinder­gartens in over 70 coun­tries. On this occa­sion, you are invit­ed to a con­fer­ence on the future of school education.

Join pol­i­cy mak­ers, aca­d­e­mics, teach­ers, par­ents
 and peo­ple pas­sion­ate about edu­ca­tion to address:

  • How can edu­ca­tion empow­er chil­dren 
to build mean­ing­ful rela­tion­ships with the world?
  • What does edu­ca­tion need to focus on in a soci­ety 
with instant access to vast amounts of information?
  • What con­tri­bu­tion can Stein­er Wal­dorf ped­a­gogy make to edu­ca­tion poli­cies, cur­ric­u­la design, assess­ment, and the imple­men­ta­tion of the EU Key Competences?

The event is free for reg­is­tered par­tic­i­pants. Lunch and snacks will be pro­vid­ed through­out the day.
