Helping Children Navigate the Digital World:
A joint challenge for parents, teachers, and policy-makers

As a result of three-year work on the HERMMES project, this conference will serve as the launch of the HERMMES results — guidelines, curriculum and trainings for teachers and parents on media education. Learn more about the project here.

The conference will also serve as a sharing point between policy-makers and education professionals, between ICT experts and parents, between all stakeholders who are in search of how to best support children and young people in their efforts to interact with the digital worlds.

The HERMMES results are framed within the Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027, directly mapped to the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, in line with the European parliament resolution on shaping digital education policy and the UN thematic report on the impact of the digitalisation on the right to education.
