FAQ
What is the world list?
The directory of Waldorf Kindergartens and Waldorf Schools is published in a joint list. The World Waldorf School List of the Hague Circle — International Council for Steiner-Waldorf Education is edited in cooperation with the Pedagogical Section at the Goetheanum in Dornach/ Switzerland and Friends of Waldorf Education in Berlin/Germany. The World Waldorf Kindergarten List is edited by IASWECE (International Association for Steiner/ Waldorf Early Childhood Education).
Why is the number of member schools not identical with the number of schools on the world list?
In some cases, the number of member schools in the national federation may differ from the number of recognised Waldorf schools listed in the world list. Reasons can be recent changes in school numbers, schools having candidate status or schools that chose to be independent from the national federation.
