HERMMES Conference on Media and Well-being

Dur­ing its 3‑year imple­men­ta­tion peri­od, HERMMES project part­ner­ship will organ­ise three con­fer­ences, of which the first is focus­ing on Media and Well-being. The con­fer­ence will offer space for learn­ing and exchange between edu­ca­tion pro­fes­sion­als and par­ents, on the top­ics of age-appro­pri­ate media edu­ca­tion, dig­i­tal media lit­er­a­cy and media maturity.

HERMMES stands for Holis­tic Edu­ca­tion, Resilience and Media Matu­ri­ty in Edu­ca­tion­al Set­tings and is a project that gath­ers 15 Europe wide part­ners. The part­ner­ship has com­mit­ted to deliv­er a frame­work cur­ricu­lum and school pol­i­cy guide­lines on media edu­ca­tion for chil­dren and youth from birth to 18, both direct­ed towards the edu­ca­tion pro­fes­sion­als and par­ents. These mate­ri­als will be sup­port­ed by train­ing for both tar­get groups and avail­able on the project web­site. The project is sup­port­ed and co-fund­ed through the Eras­mus+ programme.
